Twitter is lit with the hashtag #UsherBucks
Social media accusation that usher has been less than credulous, by paying hard working strippers in fake bills. An account on Instagram which goes by the handle beel0ove, posted a status with images of usher bills and the caption ‘Ladies what would you do if you danced all night for usher and he threw this???’
Usher Raymond IV (born October 14, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, actor, businessman, and dancer. He was born in Dallas, Texas, but raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, until moving to Atlanta, Georgia.
The caption leaves open the suggestion that singer committed an act of illegality, by using fake currency, in the denomination of 100, 20 , 1 dollar bills, to pay for services rendered. Though all is not what it seems!
According to an article published report by TMZ. They contacted Sapphire in Vegas, where the alleged fake payment occurred and the spokesperson told them, Usher did NOT tip them with fake money, he paid for services rendered with real money and tipped the bar staff generously.
This did not stop twitter been ablaze with the hashtag #usherbucks trending for the last 24hrs and still going strong as twitter users share memes of usher money.
One twitter user @jassieldc shared a meme of a dog biting the pillow to sum up the feeling.
Assurance had been given that it was someone in the usher inner circle who had left some bills in an ashtray for a bit of a gag and not usher himself, tipped the girls with genuine money
The question to be answered why did @beel0ove post this misleading status, after two credible sources stated confirmed the truth. Is this another example of cancel culture been spread and the further rise of fake media??
